This class is designed for parents who have children in the tween and early teenage years. Although the course is open to all parents (and the skills and topics are applicable to all ages) we're strongly recommending it for parents with kids entering the crucial stages of Grades 4-8. Our facilitators are Kim and Darlene Unrau who have a wealth of experience equipping parents for the teen years. There are a few hard truths in our current world of parenting.

1. ) You can't fully prevent your kids from experiencing the temptations, lies, corruption, and twisted cultural values of our fallen world.


2. )If you don't help your kids navigate these challenges and experiences someone else will. That guidance will come from their friends, other families, and even academic systems who most likely don't embrace your convictions or worldviews.

Connected Parenting is all about developing the skills to maintain a strong connection with your kids while helping them navigate a complex world. Each night will contain teaching and a Q&A session around topics like pornography, sexuality and gender, body image, and self worth.
